She is a writer for Vanity Fair, who is tasked with writing an article for Vincent Chase, who begins an infatuation with her and thus leading to their marriage. Biography[]
Entourage[]
First appearing in the season 8 episode "Motherfucker," Sohia Lear is a professional writer for Vanity Fair, who is tasked with interviewing Vincent Chase and writing a story around him, following his departure from a drug rehab facility. Vince opens up to Sophia and tells his story, only for the article to call him an "insecure womanizer".
During his Vanity Fair photo shoot, Vince reads the article for his interview, and sets out to right a perceived wrong and make things right with Sophia. In this and the next episode, Vince is infatuated with Sophia and woos her in any possible way.
In the series' final episode, Vince tells the gang that he's flying to Paris in a few hours to marry Sophia after spending a night with Sophia. The series ends with Vince, Sophia, Drama, Turtle, Ari and Melissa boarding a private plane to fly to Paris for Vince and Sophia's wedding, while E and a pregnant Sloan fly together to New York.
Entourage (2015)[]
After just 9 days of marriage, Sophia divorces Vince on their honeymoon, leaving a letter for an explanation and encouragement that he can do better (citing the script for the newest film Vince was supposed to star in), inspiring Vince to do his directorial debut Hyde, which is both critically and financially successful and wins Drama a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Mark Wahlberg.
